Across the nation, state leaders are using career and technical education (CTE) to better connect academic learning with career aspirations and workforce needs. One emerging strategy is leveraging career pathways systems to expose students to the academic content and career readiness skills to ensure all students graduate ready for college and the workforce. In other words, ensuring all students receive a well-rounded education.
This three-part webinar series is based on the College and Career Readiness and Success (CCRS) Center’s Designing a Career Pathways System: A Framework for State Education Agencies and will explore key aspects of designing a career pathways system for all students. Presenters will share stories from the field, including strategies and lessons learned from states grappling with similar issues. Further, the series will highlight existing tools that states can use to promote and guide the career pathways work.
