REL Mid-Atlantic is part of the network of ten regional educational laboratories funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences (IES) and serves education stakeholders in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. The goal of REL Mid-Atlantic is to help stakeholders access and use high quality research so that they are armed with the evidence they need to make decisions about educational policy and practice. Its work includes a combination of research alliances with states, districts, and charter schools and direct responses to requests from the public.
