The National Center on Education Statistics has released an updated data report regarding state policy changes around accountability, assessments, staff qualifications, student readiness, school choice, and others. Some highlights include states' progress under the No Child Left Behind Act, establishment of virtual charter schools and flexible time in schools, and having definitions for "college ready" in place.
