Kimberly A. Green, executive director of the National Association of State Directors of Career Technical Education Consortium, serves as a senior advisor for the College and Career Readiness and Success Center and Content Leader for career and technical education-related activities and resources. Over the past 19 years she has worked extensively on federal policy impacting career technical education. In addition to her extensive policy work, Ms. Green helped establish, implement and grow the national Career Clusters™ Initiative, which is designed to transform Career Technical Education so that it can meet the needs of nation, its economy, employers and students. Her current focus is on the development of the Common Career Technical Core, the development of a new Career Pathways, the convening of the Career Readiness Partner Council and the beginning of the reauthorization of the federal investment in Career Technical Education.
